During a very cold winter, I turned 16 and decided I never wanted to wear pants again. I found dresses feminine, cheerful and easy because you never have to combine ... Since then my dress collection became bigger and bigger ... Through my travels I discovered more and more designers and bought a lot of dresses abroad.
At a party in November 2009 the sister of a friend was pregnant with twins and no longer fitted anything of her wardrobe. How would she be able to dress up for a party? Her story was the seed for the start of MirreMirre, a company where you can rent the most beautiful dresses for pregnant women and all other women!Besides my private collection a (still growing) collection of MirreMirrecame into being inclusing heels and accessories.

Mirre Andringa studied Political Science with a specialization in International Relations and Latin America at the University of Amsterdam. During her studies she lived successively one year in Madrid and Buenos Aires. At the Dutch Royal embassy in Argentina she maintained, among other things, the contacts with NGO's, international organizations and Argentinean (government) agencies. Back in The Netherlands she specialized in sustainability at Twinstone. Besides her work she started the foundation Messengers of PeaceThe Netherlands with three other girls. Mirre is working full time at Twinstone. On Wednesdaynight and Saturday she works for her own company: MirreMirre.
